I believe this was my 12th week long stay at Pieve a Salti, the perfect Tuscan countryside farm. Again, thank you to our hosts Gianpaolo and Elena and Daniela, Patrick and crew who run this agritourismo so very well. Here’s a collection of images by the workshop members from our day trips through the south of Tuscany. We photographed Tuscan hills at sunset, Tuscan roads lined with Cypress trees, cafes, narrow streets and of course the old Tuscan men who watch us with such amusement. What a great bunch to travel with. Maybe my favorite Tuscan photography adventure this year were the smallest villages, almost ghost towns of Lucignao dAsso and Monteringrifoli. See you next year! One of our favorite workshops ever, and favorite groups of people. We’ll definitely be returning to the Riviera. We stayed in Camogli, the perfect Mediterranean town, and somehow undiscovered by American tourism. This was our base to photograph Portofino, Cinque Terre and points in between. Cinque Terre is always a delight, but our favorite stop may have been photographing at San Fruttuoso monastery. We swam in this perfect little harbor with it’s underwater Christ statue and ate our favorite pesto here.
